Changelog

What changed

Every change to the fees and freight rates inside the extension. None of these numbers are typed by hand — they are diffed straight out of this project’s git history.

  • Version 0.11.13Commit 1a61aa0Calculator

Sorting and charging now use the same number

No fee changed in this release — but your cheapest option may have. We had two different ways to measure shipping cost: one chose which line to show first, another decided what you pay. On bulky, light parcels those two disagreed, so the bar could point at ¥234 while ¥175 sat one row below. Both now call the same function, so the order you see is the order you pay.

Behaviour change — no fee moved

  • Version 0.11.11Commit 2f2199ePlatforms

Two platforms removed, 25 fee lines re-derived from their own sites

LoongBuy and LoveGoBuy are gone: too many of their fee lines had nothing public to back them. Twenty-five other lines across the five remaining platforms were re-derived from what those sites publish today. The biggest swings are insurance — where we found no published rate we now mark the item 'not published' and the calculator charges 0. That's us refusing to guess, not the agent going free. If your agent bills you insurance, the estimate is low on purpose.

    • Version 0.11.10Commit 108185aFreight

Freight rates rewritten against each platform’s published table — in both directions

Every freight rate was re-read from the platform’s own calculator page. Some went up (Oopbuy to the US roughly doubled), plenty went down (Supplyia to the US dropped from ¥90 to ¥43/kg). Two lines also stopped charging volumetric weight altogether — vol: 0 — which for a big, light parcel is worth far more than any headline rate change. Units are CNY per kg, same as what the extension charges.

Superbuy photo check and reinforcement came down after re-reading their page

QC photos went from ¥10 to ¥2 and reinforcement from ¥10 to ¥5. Both are per item, so on a 20-piece order that is ¥160 back. This is what happens when numbers come from the platform’s own page instead of from memory.

    • Version 0.11.0Commit b28cc1eFees

CSSBuy service fee stops claiming 0%

We used to show CSSBuy’s service fee as a confident 0%. We could not find a published rate to back that number, so it now reads “as actually charged” and contributes 0 to the estimate — same arithmetic, different honesty. Where the wording matters most is at checkout, which is exactly where we are least able to promise you a number.

CSSBuyfeeItem.svcService fee label: a confident 0% → “as actually charged”

Amounts are CNY per kg (¥/kg) — the same unit the extension itself charges.

Each row is checked against the commit printed beside it. Change a number here without changing the data and the check goes red.
